Storyboard Creator

Build a shot-by-shot storyboard: drop a frame into each panel, label it with scene, shot size, lens and camera move, reorder, and export a printable PDF grid.

Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

How to use

  1. Drop a frame image into the panel box, or click it to upload one from your device.
  2. Label the panel with its scene, shot letter, shot size, lens and camera move.
  3. Write a line of action describing what happens in the frame, then press Add panel.
  4. Reorder panels with the arrow buttons, or remove one with the cross.
  5. Export the whole board to a printable PDF grid to share with cast and crew.

Examples

  • A car-chase sequence becomes a row of panels: wide establisher, a tracking two-shot, a close insert of the gearshift and a low angle on the wheels.
  • Pitching a commercial, you can sketch key frames on paper, photograph them, and drop each into a panel so the deck reads like a finished board.
  • Reordering panels with the arrows lets you try a different cut without redrawing anything, then export the new order to PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Are my frames uploaded anywhere?

No. Images are processed in your browser and the board is stored only on this device. Nothing leaves your computer. Export to PDF to share it.

What image sizes work best?

Anything works. Each frame is resized to fit a 16:9 panel and lightly compressed so the board stays small enough to save and print smoothly.

Will my board still be here later?

Yes, on the same browser and device, it is saved automatically. Clearing your browser data or using another device will not show it, so export a PDF to keep a permanent copy.
