Frequently asked questions

What does error correction do?

It adds redundancy so a code still scans when partly damaged or obscured. Higher levels survive more damage but pack the modules denser.

PNG or SVG?

PNG is ready to drop anywhere. SVG is vector, so it scales to any size for print without going soft. Pick SVG for large or high-resolution output.

Is the code generated locally?

Yes. The QR is built entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
