Text Animator Generator
Choose letters, words or lines and an effect, and get the exact After Effects text Animator recipe plus an Expression Selector that staggers each unit in.
Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
How to use
- Choose whether to animate by characters, words or lines.
- Pick the effect: fade, blur, position, rotation or scale.
- Set the stagger per unit and how long each unit takes to animate in.
- Follow the four-step Animator recipe, then paste the Expression Selector code onto the Amount.
Examples
- Characters plus Fade with a small stagger gives a clean per-letter title reveal.
- Words plus Position slides each word up in sequence for a kinetic lower-third.
- Lines plus Blur brings paragraphs into focus one line at a time.
Frequently asked questions
Why an Expression Selector instead of keyframes?
An Expression Selector drives the animator from the layer in-point and staggers every unit automatically, so you never touch a keyframe and can retime by moving the layer.
What does Based On do?
It tells the Range Selector whether to treat the text as characters, words or lines, which is what makes the stagger land on the right unit.
Is anything uploaded?
No. It runs entirely in your browser.
