Generative Synthesizer
A sound workstation you can actually play. Press play and it makes music straight away: a melody that can never hit a wrong note, plucked in time, through a filter and a delay. Roll the dice for a whole new patch, drop elastic cables between the jacks to rewire it, or play the keyboard. Deterministic synthesis in your browser, export to WAV, nothing uploaded.
Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
How to use
- Press play. It starts on a good patch straight away: a melody in key, plucked in time, no setup.
- Click a preset to change the whole character: drift, pulse, acid, bells, chaos or swell.
- Roll the dice for a completely new patch. It can go wild, but the voice is locked to the scale, so it can only ever sound good.
- Turn any knob or fader on the console to shape it. Drag an elastic cable between two jacks to rewire the modulation, or click a cable to cut it.
- Play the keyboard along the bottom, then export a WAV or copy the link: it reproduces the exact same patch for anyone who opens it.
Examples
- A plucked, in-key sequence for a title card or an interlude.
- A slow swell under a voiceover, with the filter breathing on the clock.
- A gritty, resonant acid line for a montage or a transition.
- A generative bed you leave running while you work, that never repeats the same way twice.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know synthesis?
No. Press play and it already sounds good. Presets and the dice give you a whole new patch in one click, and the voice is locked to a scale, so a wrong note is impossible.
Is this AI?
No. There is no AI anywhere. Every sound is deterministic synthesis driven by your controls and a seed. The same patch always produces the same music, on any machine.
What are the cables for?
The routing inside is fixed so it always works, but you can drop elastic cables between the jacks to add your own modulation: send the clock to the filter, or the random to the pitch. Click a cable to cut it.
Does anything upload?
No. The synthesis, the recording and the WAV export all run entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is tracked.
Can I share a patch?
Yes. Every knob, fader and cable lives in the page link, and the synthesis is deterministic, so a copied link reproduces the identical music for anyone who opens it.
