A wallpaper to match
the case you bought
We had an idea: an animated wallpaper for anyone who bought a case, so the screen matched the art on the back of their phone. I took some of the artists' paintings, with their permission, and made them move.

NINE PAINTINGS, NINE RIGS
I repainted what was underneath.
Separating a painting into moving parts exposes everything the top layer was hiding. What I paint back has to look like the artist did it, not like a repair, so no two were the same. A flat line drawing forgives a patch. A thick painted one shows every brush mark you failed to match. Nine paintings, nine rebuilds, nothing that carried across.
MESH, RIG, ANIMATE
Then Spine 2D takes over.
Once the separating and repainting are finished in Photoshop, the file goes into Spine. Both timelapses above run the whole build, mesh to rig to animate.
